PECO to Upgrade Natural Gas Infrastructure in Local Neighborhood
PECO Energy has announced plans to upgrade natural gas equipment in the neighborhood as part of an ongoing effort to enhance safety, reliability, and service performance.
The project will involve replacing existing natural gas infrastructure with new, more durable underground piping. These upgrades are designed to improve system safety and ensure more reliable gas service for residents.
Construction will begin along Rockledge Avenue and will extend to Sylvania Avenue, Abington Avenue, Jarrett Avenue, Blake Avenue, Montgomery Avenue, and Robbins Avenue.
The work is scheduled to continue through the area and is expected to be completed by Summer 2026.
