Road Closed

ROAD CLOSED 

Pine Rd. between Shady Ln. and Bloomfield Ave. will be closed, effective Monday, April 1st until the end of 2024. Both lanes of Shady Ln. between Pine Rd. and Huntingdon Pk. will remain open. Traffic on eastbound Shady Ln. will be forced to turn right onto Pine Rd. and travel southbound towards Rhawn St. & Oxford Ave. in nearby Fox Chase. Traffic on northbound Pine Rd. will be forced to turn left onto Shady Ln. and travel westbound towards Huntingdon Pk. where Rockledge meets Abington.

The reason for this road closure and necessary detours is due to work being done on the Pennypack Bridge on Pine Rd. Please expect delays during morning and late afternoon/early evening rush hour periods, and plan accordingly.
