Mill Park Update
Posted on Apr 25, 2017
Rockledge Borough has been awarded two Small Community Grants from the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) for Phases I and II of the planned improvements at Mill Park. Last fall volunteers, borough staff, and our partners at the Tookany/Tacony- Frankford Watershed Partnership came together to plant over 100 new trees and shrubs at the park and installed a new rain garden for storm water management. This year, we are gearing up for Phase II and need your help!
Commemorative Brick Fundraising Campaign
The Borough is establishing this program for residents and businesses to donate to the park project by purchasing commemorative bricks, park benches, or donating general funds to help offset the initial cost of installing park amenities. Make a lasting impression at the newest borough park by purchasing a personalized brick or bench! All proceeds from sales will go toward the Mill Park Fundraising Campaign for park improvements. Residents and business owners are encouraged to donate! For more information and to place your order please go to: www.4everinmyheart.com/MillPark.
Personalized plaques on park benches can be purchased with a donation of $250 or more. The Borough is also accepting general donations in any denomination. For more information, or to pledge your support, please contact the Borough office at 215-379-8572 or .
More information on the Mill Park Fundraising Campaign can be found in the upcoming spring/summer Borough newsletter. Postcards with further information will be mailed out soon to all residents and businesses.
